Here we have a very nice 3-inch WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Senior Pilot’s wing that is in excellent condition. This is a mid-war wing that has the star integrally cast into the wing. The obverse displays extremely nice detail and is beautifully age toned. The reverse is with a recessed back on the star and central shield. The reverse of the right wing is mark, “N.S. MEYER INC.” over “NEW YORK” with the Meyer shield logo below that. The reverse of the left wing is marked “Sterling” in raised letters at the reverse of the left wing. It is complete with its original pin and roller locking catch assemblies. The wing is with an attractive age tone to the silver and remains a very good-looking example in excellent condition.
